Oddly, after a game in which there was so much to criticize with the staff almost all of it is repetitive. Yet, the biggest coaching failure last night was the complete lack of attack when Fresno was reeling with foul trouble.
I was sitting with three coaches, who all commented that it's rare to see a team on the floor with all five guys having four fouls. For 5+minutes!! Their leading scorer for longer than that.
Yet only 3 times we challenged them. Poyser ' s reverse, and Seagears' two turnovers. 3...In five plus minutes. Half a dozen people around me were screaming to attack. But the players danced. Any coach knows you attack the guy with foul trouble. They had five!
So, there's my two cents' worth. Everybody, from Rice to Cook, needs to figure out whether they will give up, or fight. Like we fans.
