I'm much of what I'm hearing because not only is it all over the place and many things I'm hearing are stark contradictions from each other. Things are all over the place, I've heard several names not mentioned, I've heard completely different monetary amounts. A lot of jockeying behind the scenes, tough to make sense of it.

What's interesting is the quality of names on this list. Last time around, there wasn't heavy interest in the job by way of big names. It basically came down to Rice, Kent, Dunlap or Theus. This time around, the list is impressive, even though a couple are probably pipe dreams. Even so, a much heartier overall field.

A lot of that has to do with the players here and it has finally been demonstrated that you can recruit at an elite level to UNLV. Kruger got UNLV back to respectability and made some national noise with a S16. Rice showed some highs with numbers of wins over nationally ranked teams and recruiting excellence.

And now it appears that UNLV, if they gather the money and some consensus, can attract some good names for the job.
