If Odom leaves, I don’t know if the next person will do anything. Back to mediocrity imo.
If he leaves, I think we will go back to sucking. Which would put pressure on basketball to stop sucking.
This. We need to upgrade QB and our OL. We’re getting killed in the trenches on both sides of the ball.
With the A’s and an NBA team coming to Vegas, I don’t think there will be any pressure at unlv. At all.

We're probably getting relegated to the stupid LA Bowl against Cal instead of beating the sh*t out of Georgia in the playoffs, but it is what it is.

How is a historic season not accomplishing something? This is pretty rough for sure, but it might be sometime before we reach this level again.
They are daring Hajj to throw, they just run guys right at him. He can’t run or throw because he doesn’t have time to set. Marion needs to get something going, some quick outs, some quick throws.

I appreciate all that he’s done by stepping in. But everyone wants to act like Sluka wasn’t good because he left. Sluka was a winner and had moxie. He would’ve given us a better chance in a game like this IMO.
@RebelinWA I was being as sarcastic as I could. UNLV has broken barriers these last 2 seasons. That was my intention.
Sluka was more one dimensional the Hajj. There's no way in hell he'd be better in this game than Hajj. A wash at best
I disagree. Everyone wants to say he couldn’t throw because he dissed us. He threw some good balls and there were a lot of drops.
You can look at percentages but when you watch the games you could see it. Oh and he didn’t lose any games, there’s that.
I still prefer Hajj to Sluka. First off, obviously Sluka isn’t about team. Secondly, it’s not like he was a good passer either. And I know the receivers actually prefer Hajj’s passes, easier catches.
Him leaving has nothing to do with his ability to get the ball to receivers. He MISSED his targets more than having balls dropped. Regardless, it's a moot point.
The point will be made when he starts at an SEC school next year.
