Line ‘em up: Predictions and Game Thread Boise

Rebels have looked better than BSU lately. To be fair, though, everyone looks like crap when they play Wyoming, especially in Laradise. But the Broncos just look like they're wearing down. I think they're ripe for the picking. Close game, either way, but I'm going with

UNLV - 31
BSU - 28

I just hope the temperature inversion has lifted by game time. It's supposed to be weakening Friday.

Looked up a Temp. forecast. 44 degrees at kickoff. 38 degrees at game end. Very light wind.

That's not bad at all.
A heat wave for Boise!

Wow, I like seeing the confidence some of our fans have. Helps ease my lack of confidence a little bit. Maybe I have too much respect for Jeanty, maybe I’m clinging to their history too much … and our own too much.

I kinda feel like we are SDSU basketball 2004/5 wherever it was. Clearly better than they were previously, but not quite getting over the hump. Needing a few chances. But once they did, they owned the conference and became the new kingpin.
Honestly, I don't feel like Jeanty or anything else Boise did beat us. I really feel as if the Rebels did more to beat themselves than anything Boise did. Clean up some mistakes this time around and things may be different.

Me too.

But Boise forced us to play a near mistake free game. We made a couple too many and paid.

If we lose the TO battle, a key for UNLV all year long, we will lose. I’m not trusting Hajj’s arm and reads so much.

I think Rebs win by 5. Usually don’t feel good in spots like this, but UNLV has exceeded past all expectations and playing with house money at this point with a chip on their shoulder. All the pressure is on Boise and they know it.

Same here. We beat ourselves in that game. We're 6-0 on the road. We have nothing to lose and everything to gain and they have everything to lose. We "should" win going away with it. But what I think actually happens is we win by 3 in OT.

It is rough for everyone to watch the game including the referees. That is their advantage. They have a great team but that Smurf turf gives them the edge.
No it doesn't. It only gives an advantage when you're watching on TV. When you're down there on the field you're not looking at the turf. Your head is up looking at the game around you and your background is concrete Grey from the stadium. There's a reason why we chose Grey unis tomorrow. Wink, wink. Nudge, nudge.

I thought it was because we are undefeated in Grey...

I heard UNLV is offering a $700 package flight up, ticket and flight home after the game not a bad deal. And very un UNLV like to be so organized but maybe Harper is better than previous AD’s.
Bill Paulos and Joe Haro ARE the MANS

I’m feeling a big win for unlv.

Call it hopium, but I think it’s destiny for Odom and this team. These guys are battle tested and ready for this moment.

Maybe need to have all the players get special glasses?

Glasses that change blue to green are typically called "photochromic lenses" with a green tint, which means they darken to a greenish hue when exposed to sunlight, effectively changing the appearance of certain colors like blue to a more green shade; often referred to as "Transitions" lenses with an "Emerald" color option

A little humor in this, but what the heck!!!!

Very cool seeing all the heavyweights of College FB broadcasting showing to call our game and offer analysis.
1 out of 4 panel picked UNLV. It just happens that one person is Urban Meyer. You can say whatever you want about him but the man know football.

For a whole week they talked about preparation, but apparently they didn't prepare for the noise of Boise's home field. Have the guard signal the center to snap the ball
