Ever since BSU has come into the MWC, they have slowly been losing the shield of invulnerability. Virginia is currently beating BSU 35-14 at the end of the 3rd quarter with Virginia on the 4 of BSU with a first down.

Final score BSU 23 Virginia 42 - correction Virginia scrub QB and players gave up safety while trying to run out the clock, and then a very quick TD to make the score look much closer then the game was. Both scores in a period of 1 minutes

This would be the worst home loss (points) since a 40 point loss to Northridge State in 1997. Lucky for BSU that Virginia has the reserves, including 2nd string QB, for most of the second half.

I think it has more to do with losing Peterson as their coach and being put on probation that has led to their downfall, instead of their MW affiliation. It's no secret that BSU thought they weren't under the microscope of the NCAA because they were a small school. When small schools start winning and winning big, it pisses off the big 6 school and the NCAA knocks them back down to where they should be. Sound familiar ???
