Why do you think Texas Tech didn't give Lavin a courtesy call? Or basically any other program in the country? There IS a very good reason for it, think about it.
He is and has been very, very available, but nobody will call him. Think about that.

Not sure what the missing piece is though. Lavin isn't more qualified/accomplished than Beard, Menzies, Augmon/Miller??
it's because he just isn't a very good coach at all. It's pretty much the consensus opinion around the country.
