Weird on ESPN that SDSU is listed as a 4.5 point favorite, but in the matchup predictor, they show UNLV 55.9% and SDSU 44.1% to win.
Okay nobody is excited - Everybody is sitting on their hands - Rebs Fans have been burned - Caution - dont get your hopes up - The Rebels will not get into the dance - recent history says SDSU is better and we should end our season tonight
I think their will be much more excitement tomorrow after we beat SDSU and get a CRACK at USU then when we beat REno to get into the dance 2024 will be FREAKING epic -

So what’s the deal with Ka. Boone? Is he injured? (Traveling and haven’t been able to stay updated.)
DJT has 10 points and Webster with 6. Rest of team is scoreless. Pretty clean game in terms of fouls though, which is good since we're very limited right now
Finally a couple other guys get in the mix offensively. Big 3 by Keylan to get the lead up to 10. Hopefully we can maintain that lead into halftime!
The missed shots by us in the paint are tough to watch, we would be up even more if not for those 6-8 points missed. How we come out in the second half will be critical, don’t let them back into the game so easily, just defend and rebound!

Last second of first half play drawn up out of the timeout. Unfathomable and momentum shift after an ugly but scrappy first half. Just can’t have it against a good team.

That was by definition a horrible play drawn up and executed out of a timeout. Such a shame.
Then the halftime interview. Coach just doesn’t take accountability. Tried to play it off like it wasn’t a big deal. Just own it and learn from it.

Player has some responsibility for that one also. Dumb play and Keylan makes plenty of them.
Aztecs are going to start hitting shots and it won’t be close. You are exactly right. We needed to be up by much more at the half.
I am in a meeting for work and watching the stats while in the meeting. Will watch later tonight when I get home but it shows SDSU has shot 12 more times that UNLV but only out rebounded by 5. It doesn't show turn overs are we turning the ball over a bunch? If not what's happening on that part?

We are cooked. You can only lean on a single player for so long until he collapses. Webster needed the ball in his hands more as he had the hot hand.
We needed to make the easy shots in the paint and play smart. Neither happened.
Kruger tried to down play that last second halftime play. But that’s proven huge as a momentum shift. UNLV got punched in the mouth and just didn’t come back.

Regardless of this ending, this squad has some heart that previous squads haven’t in recent years.
Boneheaded plays... just stupid plays like complaining to the ref mid-play... or allowing a coast to coast layup out of a TO... coaching...
Or the 3 at the end of the first half... just tell them to pass ot short and go in up 8... and yes, your players should be taught to not hold up the ball in the middle of a play to complain for a foul...
