Oregon State, Washington State invited to join Gonzaga-led WCC in basketball for next two seasons

I think we will see all PAC2 sports, besides football, go to the WCC along with basketball. The WCC probably made them a deal they couldn't refuse such as telling the Pac2 we will only take all your sports if we get your basketball as well. I really don't know how this transpired and it could be that the MWC presented unfavorable terms to OSU and WSU. I'm sure we will learn more about this in time.

So the the Pac 2 don't officially join the MW in football but do officially join the WCC in basketball?

This sucks. Was really hoping that OSU and WSU, joined the MWC for women's hoops.
Now, the Lady Rebels, will be a dynasty in the Mountain West.
