NCAA: Transfers could lose eligibility during TRO
The NCAA announced Thursday that student-athletes who participate in games during the 14-day temporary restraining order will lose a season of eligibility if Wednesday's federal ruling on transfer rules is reversed.

He cant lose a year of eligibility.. He doesn't have 1 to lose. This really only applies to other 2 time transfers that have eligibility left. He would if they tell us he is ineligible thus losing his remaining eligibility with only a few games played.
The NCAA is going to get sued like no other if they try enforcing that
He graduates this week, so all is good.
He is officially free. There will no punishment and the temporary restraining order has been converted to a preliminary injunction.
