I wonder if they use the same type of attendance guidelines we do. They might have 200 fans there but on paper it says 4200

Where did the tough unlv defense go? They guarded hill well but let interior passes go by them all game. Also 5 turnovers in last 5:33 and 2 missed ft.

Didn’t watch the game but what’s noticeable from the box score is the Reb’s going 1-8 beyond the arc. Noticeable not for only hitting one shot (really doesn’t surprise me) but that it continues a trend of moving away from chucking up 3’s as an offense. Lou-Rod in particular has cut down significantly on his long distance attempts. This shift has been a key reason for their winning streak imo. Offense is more consistent running the ball inside, improves rebounding and second chance points, and results in better looks from 3 when the ball is kicked out (no guarantee those are made as we know well wit this group). Whaley also thrives more in this scheme. Credit goes to CKK and his staff for making adjustments to find an offensive strategy that works better for this team. Nothing like a little hot-seat to change a business-as-usual approach.
Yeah, that number isn’t as bad as it might seem. If this team defends and launches less than 15 per game (unless they’re dropping, which would be more of a rarity), don’t know why they wouldn’t be in every single game.
