According to Mike Grimala we spent $400k this year on DJT. I don't blame DJT for taking what he could get but I would expect a PG getting $400k to be able to push pace and get us 7 or 8 assists per game. I suspect a booster fell in love with DJT and directed his NIL towards him and in the end it was to the detriment of the roster construction.
Probably could have done a lot better with $50k for 4 good players and not had junk at the end of the bench when the injuries set in.

When did Grimala ever have access or know anything intimate about the Rebels? Didn’t he also botch something with RWIII?

But now he’s an ‘expert’ according to an anonymous source? Right…

Okay you don’t like Grimala but are you arguing that DJT wasn’t making $400k this year? No matter what he was making he couldn’t push pace, create opportunities or get the other players involved. We were a much better team without him until Rishwain went down.

Yes, we were NOT paying him that amount.

I only 'don't like' Grimala because he works against UNLV. He's no friend, just as his boys Ed Graney and the other guy aren't pro-UNLV at all. He wants clicks. He hasn't had access for years, other than some weak rides around campus on a golf cart. He gets no information from real people, only anonymous sources.

Other than that, he's solid!

Okay, so what do you think we were paying him? And whatever that number was is doesnt change the fact that DJT doesn't push pace, dominates the ball & doesnt get the rest of the team involved.

I didn't say that he's not a team first PG. Great strawman redirect!

Player eval mean much?

Tonje was ranked as the 296th transfer portal player following the 2023-24 season.[12] Tonje originally committed to Richard Pitino and New Mexico.[13] Less than a week later, Tonje decommitted from New Mexico and committed to Wisconsin.[14] In only his fourth career game with the Badgers, Tonje scored a career high 41 points in an upset victory over the 9th ranked Arizona Wildcats. His 41 points were the fourth most in a single game in Badgers history. Tonje also broke the Wisconsin single game record for made free throws with 21.[15][16] Tonje was an unanimous pick to the First-team All-Big Ten following the regular season.[17]
