I was hoping the team might play more loose after the fate of their coach was lifted of their shoulders.

After just talking with "someone" I don't think that's going to happen. NO ONE on the staff is happy with the Simon interim tag. Ice was fine with the firing as long as Simon didn't get the coaching job. He said "anyone but Simon". He's not happy. Good is not happy and feels Cliff is screwing over everyone. Good didn't want the job, but, again, ANYONE but Simon. Even Rice wanted Miller to get the job.

Cliff is denying any involvement, but we all know that's not true. Also told the staff feels like Cliff will push for Simon regardless of the outcome of this season.

When I asked if coaches such as Miller would just walk away from this asshattery I was told that he wouldn't. I didn't think he would, but was told that you don't leave when you're dealing with "future recruiting" and can't burn those high school/AAU bridges. I think it was obvious Miller and SA won't be here next season, but that makes it sound like we can count on our 2016 to completely fall apart. Those players have their coaching allegiances and without Rice, SA and Miller they will leave. I know many thought it would fall apart anyway, but this secures that scenario.

Practice ended over an hour ago and the staff was still in a "meeting." This screams mutiny for the remainder of the season. Also told tomorrow, things are going to get really messy. SA, Miller and Good have 0 respect for Simon. I know, at least, one of them didn' understand why Simon was even on the staff.

Is it football season yet?
