Whitely gone

Bischoff is trying to make a big deal of the lack of reaction to Whitely's dismissal. Saying that there is no interest in UNLV football since fans aren't freaking out about this.

First of all, many saw this coming since he was already suspended for the first 4 games. Secondly, with Lex and X returning, along with Williams coming in, I think we have PLENTY of depth in the backfield.

Don't get me wrong, I'll take the extra bodies, and we can't afford to lose guys left and right to injury, academics, rule-breaking, or otherwise... But I'm not gonna lose any sleep over this one.

agree. writing was on the wall.

I think it gives chances to guys who could actually make a difference not just maintain status quo.

Cut out the cancer guys need to see there are consequences for their actions. If we're going to win lets win it right we can't afford to achieve success that could be followed by scandal. UNLV more so than any other school because of our history and proximity to gaming headquarters of the free world.

Lex and X were becoming the focal point as the season went on last year and in spring you could see where the reps were going.

Also get to see speedy Charles Williams come in and show his ability.

I think its more of while we were surprised, kind of shocked, and sad that we lost someone who was productive, no one here really thought that Whitely would be starting. I d account more to us being in tune with the comings, goings, and progression of the team in general.

And it's not like this is even news. I pointed out a few weeks ago that he wasn't on the roster anymore. As I recall, the prevailing attitude in the responses was, "Oh, that's too bad. NEXT!"

the time Bischoff said "I hate Dwayne Morgan" I was done with him. I don't care why you said it, or any excuse you can make up. It was a done deal for me. Immature

Karoke was that the podcast when he went after D Morgan?
Yep. I think some folks raised some questions concerning his views and the use of the Mountain West brand. I think he was asked to leave the mwcconnection, and since then he's gone full troll.
