Is simple. First, make a concerted effort to establish the press early on. The staff has abandoned the press almost completely against certain teams and i feel like that has been a mistake. If this team has an identity at all, it's that full-court defense and getting out in transition. Sure, it's not going to work against everyone, but don't concede that it won't work without even trying. Make Arizona prove they can beat it.
Next, i want our intensity to be through the roof. i want the halfcourt D to be suffocating and i want our guys crashing the boards with reckless abandon. All of our players need to be on the glass for us to be successful. No more slumped shoulders, no more hung heads. GET AFTER IT!!
Lastly, i want Dave to tinker with the lineups a bit. IMO i think Nwamu and Seagears should not be logging regular minutes together. Both are too similar in that they don't really have high IQ's and they have a tendency to chuck. With one of them on the floor, u can perform damage control and get good shots if u make it a point of emphasis. With both of them on the court together, it's basically chaos and anarchy. Poyser has shown that he can play in the moment. Cornish hit a couple from deep last game. I say give those 2 a chance to assert themselves and see if we can fix this offense.
