Me?

#1)Give the god damn ball to Ballungay out in the open.

This one catch per game isn’t acceptable.

#2) Sounds dumb but I would go a little more conservative. Go a little more smash mouth and run the ball. Put a couple of more offensive linemen out.

Okay and best students of all time. Good ole SDSU!!

1- Get Ricky involved early on quick screens and outs. They've had a lot of success with that. Get teams to cheat up on that. Use it to set up double moves by WRs to hit bigger shots down the field.

2-Inside the red zone especially inside the 5 run the ball between the tackles. You have to be able to smack teams in the mouth on occasion.

We definitely don't do enough of 1. Also, there is this thing called the middle of the field. It's not a penalty if you utilize it. Not every pass has to be deep on the sidelines.

1. Yes
2. Nah, this team isnt set up for smash mouth. Our Oline has some good players, but smash mouth isnt what Id describe...
For me:
1. Yes more TE
2. Defense needs to play tighter to the LOS. We should stop the defense that gives 5-8 yards a catch with the soft zones.
3. Hajj giving the ball up more on the option reads. He started really good at it vs Fresno... Then Syracuse read that tape and took it away and since hes kept the ball the majority of the time. You gotta pitch that ball occasionally to keep those linebackers honest.

Yeah use the middle of the damn field and use Ballungay more than 1x/game.
We have the best set of CBs in Grimes and Oliver and the best set of Safeties in the league. Quit playing soft zone and get in the face or the other teams WRs at the line. We play way too soft in pass coverage for the talent we now have.

No real gripes other than that.

Marion having receivers spread and one back leaves us wide open for the blitz. Fix that and be able to gain 3 yards at will. This year third and short is an adventure, whereas last year we could pick those up easy.

… red zone offense is my number one.

… coverage by the secondary. Seems pretty good on long passes but ridiculously soft on short passes.

… Ricky White needs more touches overall.

… want to see Ballungay utilized more.

… we’ve had some costly unforced penalties at critical times. They need to disappear. Though I think Whitmore must have banged every refs wife because the critical, very critical calls on him in our two losses were iffy at best.

… we ignore the middle of the field too often, seems anything other than a quick slant is to the sidelines.
