time to get the bad taste of an awful road trip at SJSU and Wyoming out of their mouths and to do it on national TV against a team that is facing their own struggles. And one we beat pretty well at their own place. UNLV's gotta find a groove and try to get into the middle part of the conference race. Remember, the top 5 seeds get a first round bye. And even though the Rebels are in last place, they are only one game out of sixth place and two games out of fifth place. So it's not impossible, though it may seem that way after losing to SJSU. You can't control what those in front of you do, you can only control your own games. Win and the rest takes care of itself. Everyone in league is going to lose at least a couple more games, the key is can UNLV lose a couple less than those just above us?

Fresno is the team sitting in that 5th spot. We play at FSU the last game of the regular season. I'd love for that game to have some extra meaning.

But it starts with UNM and they are feeling down after getting crushed by UNR. Last time they were feeling down (blowing that 25 point lead vs UNR in the Pit), we skulled them and the Lobos were flat, disinterested and zombie-like. Maybe we will see more of the same at the Mack on Wednesday.

Hopefully the fans show up and help the boys find a much needed victory.
