Talk about another opportunity to think about the UNLV glory days and the events that have transpired to bring us to this point. Wow. Tark's passing is still fresh and so are all the same feelings and thoughts associated.
Coach K, definitely one of the greatest college basketball coaches ever. Probably one of the greatest coaches ever. Before all of the great Duke teams that Coach K assembled, he wasn't so successful. It took time, work, and a lot of improvement. Imagine if Duke did not have the patience to give him a chance.
I'm not saying that DR is the next Coach K. But I feel like DR is on the verge of showing us what he can do. And I want to find out while he is at UNLV. Another year is not too much to ask.
