Glover was very sought after by Mullen in Gainesville. Have to imagine that Mullen was on his line the second he officially entered the portal.

No inside info on this, but Jet and Glover would make a great 1A/1B tandem. If that doesnt work out and Jet chooses to continue his career elsewhere, Glover has more than enough to take over the running back room.
Jet Glover tandem would be one of the best in the country, imo. Good first signee in the CDM era.
I think next players will also be offense. If you start seeing defensive players commit i would think there is a defensive corrdinator already on board. But just my opinion
He’s guaranteed to be a better basketball player than the other Jaylon we had, even at 5-9
The DL from Florida having us on his list is certainly a new and exciting time..
Perhaps CDM wiould then build a run- heavy offense. It would certainly put less pressure on finding the perfect QB.

I thought he was a 1,000yd rusher for the season, but his stats are over 3yrs combined, he only had a handful of carries this year. So not as impressive as I thought at first 🤷♂️
Jaylon is a pretty hard runner that was unfortunately buried on Utah's depth chart. But their loss is our gain. Coach Whittingham likes physical running backs, and Jaylon is definitely one of them.
I hope we can keep Alexander Green. He put up similar 100m numbers to Jaylon.

Glover told On3 that Mullen contacted Glover as soon as he got the job. Good to hear that Mullen is hitting the ground running.
I asked today, from one of Utah's football staff about Glover. Comments i got was he is strong, problem they had is he lacked vision. Really struggles to get through the first line of defense. Sounded like Utah told him if he stayed he wouldnt get any playing time

That's what was going to make Burrell special. He had that vision.
UNLV have plenty of guys in the RB room. If Glover is a bull in china shop type of RB, there is a use for that.
I’d love to have a high top speed guy in the backfield. I miss breakaway types. Jet has some of that and he will be back. Would like another though.
We need so much more on the defensive side of thing. We losing over 30 players and most of them on the defensive side. I would love another Antonio Doyle and. Jackson Woodard before any offensive guy.

Those are gonna be tough, especially Catalon. Maybe Mullen can convince Grimes to come back, unless he is headed to Purdue
