Utah St vs UNLV

Everytime somebody posts 'Why can't we win?'

Post this video..

Yeah, Lol. At least they can't use the excuse of not having New practice facilities or New stadium (locker rooms) for Not Winning. The administration support is another question! It is now as it always should have been on the Coaches abilities or lack there of, facilities or not to have a winning program!!!

As bad as it seems right now..And it is bad...

I don't think this team is all that far off.

This will be their 4th loss by one score..

Iowa State game was a debacle.

Arizona State game was close heading into the fourth. Even if Brumfield was healthy, they were likely going to lose, but the score would have been more respectable..

What’s the status of Brumfield? Unfortunate he couldn’t play last night.

Just throwing this out there...

Maybe Tate simply hasn't shown enough in practice to warrant a longer look?

Between the thumb and the plantar fasciitis his reps have been limited.

A number of people keep calling for him to play.

Understandable. Brumfield has struggled to stay healthy. Friel has shown flashes but is suffering from the bumps that most true freshman do. Rogers has been underwhelming.

I get the inclination to think put it the Ohio State/Miami transfer/walk on. Dude was four stars.

Maybe the injuries have really hampered him. Maybe he simply hasn't separated himself from the other guys in the room.

I don't know..

But I doubt Arroyo would torpedo himself and purposely not play a guy if he gave him the best chance to win..

Then Tate must be STUNNINGLY bad in practice. Rogers is the worst QB I've ever seen play beyond Junior High.

I don't know.

Rogers hasn't been good at all.

He was a four star just like Tate. His HS tape was great. Horrible injury derailed him.

I don't know if that is still playing a factor? He doesn't seem to process what is in front of him quickly.

As for Martell..Said it to start the season. Wouldn't be shocked if he became the starter and lit things up. Wouldn't be shocked if he took no or few meaningful snaps the entire season.

I knew we would lose when Rogers had to come in with 5 min to play. That call at the end was atrocious. Replay showed we had a completion with time for 2 hail Marys.

Agree.

Likelihood of us winning was minimal, but that doesn't mean you get the call wrong..

The Rebels ARE improving on both sides of the ball. You can see it week to week. But by the time they have it all figured out the season will be over & will have to start all over again next year. Brumfield MUST put on weight, 15-20 lbs in the off-season.

Might help, don't know. I think this last issue was his back? (I forget, correct me if I'm wrong). Not much gaining weight would help in that scenario though..

O-Line play improving and limiting the number of hits he takes would go a long way in keeping him on the field.

He definitely has the frame to put 10-15 lbs on. Cunningham was a spindly guy and it didn't impact his ability to stay healthy.

I can only shake my head when UNLV finds new and creative ways to lose a game they should have won. It does make you wonder if they are cursed, or if the players just don't believe they can win?

In the last quarter everyone in the stadium, watching on T.V. and listening on the radio was trying to figure out how U.N.L.V would lose.

May sound silly but these guys don't know how to win. They have to learn how to focus for 60 minutes do their job individually and trust their teammates to do their job. And they need to believe they can win and they will. They don't have that right now.
