Am I bad for hoping that our OC has some off the field issue now and we bring in Urb to run that side of the ball?

The OC is Urban's Son in Law. With Mullen and Urban advising, the OC will be fine running the offense.

It would be the best way to stay close to football without having to deal with the bits of it he hates.
No doubt we could give Urban Meyer a luxury suite at one of the hotel casinos for when he is in town at a very special assistant coach for UNLV football! 😁
Not the first time hes been on campus since the hiring either! Just the first time that UNLV wanted it to be known.
Hopefully he gets interviewed and speaks about it. That would be great marketing material.
UNLV or Urb?
If I’m Urb, I stay low key.
If I’m UNLV, I want the entire world to know. I set up an “Urb Cam” chronicling his every move while in the city.
I can’t remember if he was the coach when we beat them in 2007 or 8..
It doesn’t matter because he will never be on staff at UNLV and I’ll preface this by saying yes he was a great coach. With that said I have a friend who was when Urb was there as still is on the Ohio State football non coaching staff, pretty high up who says Urb is one is a complete ahole just all around bad guy treated people like garbage. So knowing what I know and some of the stories I’ve heard about him I watched the Aaron Hernandez Doc and it seems like they portrayed Urb pretty accurate.
He’s an asshole that wins, the documentary swamp kings kind of details the kind of efforts that take place in the offseason.
Urban requires a high level of conditioning as does Mullen. Florida’s conditioning program was legendary in those days and Mullen learned how to install that kind of culture.
I’ve only seen a couple clips but this new team looks very fast and crisp in spring ball.
Usually being that successful of a coach requires you to rub people the wrong way... especially when you're playing at high stakes with programs like Ohio St and Florida. You don't win the way he does by being a nice guy

When I worked field level security at Allegiant, he was the only media I saw in two years that had his only private security guard walking around with him, it wasn’t even needed at field level where there is already a shit ton of security and other workers, absolutely zero non workers have or get access to that area, and he wasn’t friendly at all, just walked passed out like he had blinders on. Jim Nance was cool and chatted with me for a bit.
Uh ok 👍🏻 just giving my observation of him while being down on the field level, he was a dick to everyone, wasn’t even walking/hanging with his cohosts 🤷♂️
