I want to win, it’s been a very good season, would love to get to 11.

But after all the nervousness week to week, didn’t matter if it was Hawaii or Utah State, still nervous … so much on the line just to have that one chance ….

No nervous anticipation with the bowl game … at all.

I want to see #11. I have never seen won 11 game since I have been a fan. I understand why Harper not to chose Scherer or Marion for the interim. Is the team practicing for the game? We got one more. What a chaotic year this. have been. Too much drama.

Playing on Wednesday make is really difficult for many people to go to the game. My expectation is I will not be going, but if the game was on the weekend, I would definitely be going.

Isn't this the biggest bowl/highest pay game that UNLV have ever participate? This is a huge game for UNLV. If UNLV manage to win this game without its coaching staff, it would be something....
Hajj, Woodard, Ricky White, DeJesus will be on the field coaches, I guess? Maybe we can get the UNLV new coach to help out. Or either Scherer or Marion to help out.

It’s like getting a date with a hot chick for prom, but she backs out last second and you end up going with your sister.

Unless it’s Reno in the bowl game, because going with your sister is a major score.

I’m saying I want them to win, really want them to win, no matter the garbage lead up.

But you’re telling me you are as amped for this upcoming game as you were for even a tiny regular season game like Fresno or SJSU?

It’s not close for me.

I am not but it should not be overlooked. This is a huge game. It is a lot of money for UNLV and the MWC
Maybe we should have deferred to CSU?
 
Somebody did something to Barry Odom didn't you? That is why he ran away. LOL

Good question. I've searched the interwebs and never found out. I don't even know what they paid out last year. They only show as unannounced for the payout. If Vegas had a good sports journalist they might find out. That being said we may never know.
 
Hopefully that $$ wasn’t made part of Mullen’s deal and perhaps there’ll be enough left over to leverage additional donor $$ to hire a legit MBB coach after this season.
 
According to the write up on bowl game odds in the LVRJ, neither of our coordinators will be on the sidelines for the game if that’s correct perhaps having Mullen on the sidelines even just for moral support would be beneficial.

Man. You're on the ball this morning posting some good stuff.

Some worries for sure. I'm hoping Woodard plays. We need his leadership. Hajj will provide the offensive leadership. But, without our coordinators and HC we are going to have to rely on our Seniors and their leadership. For most seniors this may be their last time on the gridiron and I can't see them any less motivated. Without the coordinators on the field we may very well see Mullen on the sidelines for additional motivation for the young guys. I'll pick our guys to win.

If true, the Barry Odom era was all phony. “We’re a coaching staff that treats players like we’re a family etc” PHONY.

You only have one more game left, then go wherever but to bail on the program after working hard all year and talking about sacrifices, teamwork, and you bail on the team? Scherer stayed in Arkansas to be DC for their bowl game and that was the end of December if I remember right. There’s no rush to join Odom or another staff.
