I am not shocked that UNLV didn't land Troy because Marvin Menzies came late to the recruiting party as other coaches had been recruiting him for years. Plus it is thought that Troy may be a 1 & done player & Coach Menzies has publicly stated on several occasions that he is not interested in 1 & dones that he want players that want to play at UNLV for years that he can develop and build a program around.
