Hey can't blame the guy for benching the starters with that big of a lead. It was obvious that was going to be the plan once they burned those timeouts and pushed for that last touchdown in the first half.
Agreed. Doug was as good as we’ve seen in a UNLV uniform but the difference between good and great can be as little as 0.5 seconds in the pocket.
I pretty much have the same concerns as nearly every year. The lines and the secondary. I WAS worried about the WR corps but not so much after today. Look deep and with some quality.
Losing Charles is really tough. Not sure how the backs will stack up over the course … but I’m still not necessarily “worried” about them.
Not sure we will get pressure against bigger/more experienced lines.
I think it will probably be a little bit better than the typical “more of the same” … but same neighborhood. Though a healthy Doug can help us surpass (low) expectations.
UNLV played one quarter of great football. Whether that or the other 3 quarters is more indicative, we shall see.
The next o-lineman who throws a block for Bailey will be the first.

O-line can take a couple of games to get in sync... I definitely would not write them off yet.
