There has been so much to happen this season. I believe the image above accurately displays it.
• Lofty expectations with incoming recruits and returning players to start out.
• First game was an insight to the rest of the season with a very close win against powerhouse Cal Poly at home.
• Loss to UCLA reveals how passive team attitude is.
• UNLV beats an up-and-down Indiana, which will now be considered a bad loss for IU
• Okonoboh leaves team
• UNLV beats a good Oregon team with defense and looks like the ship isn't so off path. UNLV starts being projected as the MWC frontrunner
• UNLV gets torched by Fred Van Vleet and WSU. All the momentum fizzles and the team's confidence is shot
• Big Zimm predicted as 14th overall draft pick to the Magic
• UNLV crumbles after halftime against Arizona State after being up 12 at halftime. Outscored 41-19 and lose by 10 without Goodman playing for ASU
• Big Zimm thigh injury
• Arizona has their way with the rebs and win the game with dunks and layups
• Cook suspended from team
• Green sits, trying to get medical redshirt
• UNLV drops 3 straight MWC games, Dave Rice is fired.
• UNLV beats New Mexico in Simon's debut. Season has a chance to make a U-turn. Optimistically hopeful change can be good. Win 3 in a row.
• Ben Carter out for season with knee injury
• Daquan Cook dismissed from team
• Zimm out with Knee injury
• Morgan out with shoulder injury
• Jones academically ineligible
• UNLV 17-13 heading into MWC tournament play...with SDSU as the 1st game.

It's been a rather crap fest year for sports.

On top of UNLV, no need to discuss NY Knicks or Chicago Bears.

Man U. .... well, another coaching fiasco. And now injuries. Although exciting last week with 3 or 4 academy players getting the nod because there is no one else to play. And the young guns win, against one of the top 3 teams in the league. Van Gaul flopping around on the ground in a dramatic show of emotion (he NEVER gets off the bench!).

It's a nut fest all around for me

MLS starting up. Maybe DC United will actually do something.

Yea, I'm hoping the Sounders can pull it together for a strong season in the MLS myself. Not much of an NBA fan, but the GSW are the talk of the town for good reason.
