I bet it helps tremendously when the QB is capable and not afraid to throw the ball ….
They also have problems with teams who can score more than they can over a continuous 60 mins of game play.

Yet they still sacked him 6 times last game. That's one of my key things for this game if UNLV has a chance to win. We need to stay out of the obvious situations where they can pin their tail back and go for the QB. So we can't have a lot of holding penalties, or 3rd and long situations. Plus, IMO we should run a few screen plays on those downs just to keep them honest.
I think the sacks were a result of them staying close to the line to stop the run. Weve been susceptible to run blitzes on passing plays where we want to pass out of the run formations blowing up the play completely. If we can either hit some good runs or early passes that should soften up that front. Boise is good at getting to the QB so we cant sit there for 6-8 seconds hoping someone breaks open, needs to be quick option 1, 2, and then tuck and run looks.Yet they still sacked him 6 times last game.
