They are already “making a living” playing football.Most of the players won’t make a living playing football. So this is good and ought to be celebrated. Go rebels.

My point is that they are getting paid now. Not “after graduation.” Now. That and they are learning how to become coaches, managers, etc for future employment.I don’t think college football is a career path for most of the team. I have no idea how far down the NIL money trickles but hard to believe it is substantial for most of the players.
