Spring Departures

John Lewis is out. I posted on here a couple months ago that there were some players that transferred here just so they could have a spot for the spring. Their preferred schools didn't have room for them earlier in the year.

I know of two more players that fit the bill and will be entering shortly. Sad system we are in.

Saw a bunch of offers go out for LBs over the last week. Should anything be read from that?

Sad state of affairs no doubt, coaches will definitely devote even more time to fill these types of voids.
If it’s only 3 that might not be so bad unless they are all in the same position group, that would be devastating for a school like UNLV!

Defensive players have been targeted the most/tampered with the most all around the country.

The loss of our DC probably doesn’t help.

Btw we never got the full story on that one. Got to be health related or family issues.

Honestly this is why I barely try and figure out the two deep roster anymore.

It's a waste of time.

Or he realized he won’t be a starter at unlv lol. We have great linebacker depth

Or maybe the DC that recruited him out of high school to Mississippi State that he had a great relationship with left the program. Now he's got to at least check the market before he plays his last year.

I think the final model should probably be everyone gets a free one. You get ONE additional free one if you have a major coaching change (HC/OC/DC/AHC). Otherwise, you have to sit for a year.

I would add the addendum of grad transfer only in most cases. Exception is if you are moving up from FCS. Choose carefully kids.
