This really burns me up. Media writer saying that UNLV was dumb to fire Rice now and that its "not a good look for UNLV". Basically because he says Dave is a nice guy he should get the rest of the year, even though we all know what was coming. I loved Dave rice and supported him for 5 years and I am perfectly fine with the timing. I think 9-7 and 0-3 isn't a "good look". I don't get media. To me, unless you think the season is going to turn around, you fire the coach if you know you're doing it already. Especially if the fans and boosters want it. I haven't seen a passionate disagreement on the timing from fans ... Unless I'm missing something. I wonder if there is anyone that actually follows UNLV basketball that passionately feels he should've finished out the year and the school looks horrible for this?
