Boise ST doesnt even look anywhere what they used to look like. SDSU was climbing the ladder but they dont look too good either now. The MW is a dumbster fire with our flagship programs regressing ...i thought this game would interest me as I thought it was two good teams - Im watching two teams that are obviously NOT two teams in the top 50 programs in the country. What I'm watching should be reserved for fridays when there are no other games on. Once the MW is able to actually schedule their top games games on Sat at noon. then you know weve arrived, but that will NEVER happen.
Sdsu could not stop the wide qb runs in 2nd half. Sdsu has given up 35 in a half, never thought I would see that against anyone.
When Arizona destroyed Aztecs I knew they stink. Conference is total garbage

SDSU is looking more and more like a very winnable game.
I’m not sure their OC makes it through the weekend and Hoke’s seat is getting hot but that 12-2 season last year may buy him some time.

SDSU OC fired. Aztecs had 33 yards passing and 81 rushing against Boise. That’s for the entire game. Former UNLV coach Jeff Horton takes over. College athletics is a brutal business.
For years SDSU played such good defense they could stay in any game against just about anybody in the country except the elite programs.
On the flipside their offense was so pedestrian that it kept just about everyone they played in the game.
They would rarely blow teams out.
They always seemed to have either a top end RB or WR that would hide some of their deficiencies.
They don't seem to have that right now.
BSU...I think it's just as much the some of the G5 catching up with facilities and NIL stuff as them 'fading'.
The mystique has definitely lost some luster though.
SDSU is most definitely a game the Rebs have a shot.
Should UNLV beat SJSU, and show well vs AF (Or even win) they might actually be a road favorite vs SDSU and who would have thought that..
