Brodricks “Buddah” Jones, a 4-star recruit from Lawndale High in the Los Angeles area, suddenly and inexplicably asked for his release from the national letter of intent he signed with the Aztecs in November. SDSU coach Steve Fisher confirmed Jones’ request but said he has not formally granted the release, despite reports to the contrary, and the process may take days or even weeks to complete.
