The overnight line has the Rebels as a whopping 11.5-point favorite. That’s a pretty hefty margin on the road. Interestingly, it’s the exact same line as UN-Reno-CC is laying at home to the Cowboys of Wyoming. These numbers are from my off-shore book. Lines may vary slightly at other locations.
The Spartans boast a sparkling 3-10 record, 0-2 in conference. they opened the OOC season with a 52-point beat-down of Antelope Valley University, an NAIA team. After that things have gone mostly downhill. They dropped 3 straight before registering a home-win vs the Big Sky’s Idaho State. They registered their third win two weeks ago, after a 5-game losing streak, in an upset at WCC’s Santa Clara. They’ve now come up short in their last two match-ups. Both MWC games. The first was a 14-point road loss at Utah St. The second, a 7-point defeat at the hands of Colorado St, on the Spartans home floor.
The Rebels ought to handle this one, barely breaking a sweat. But it is the road. They’d still better come to play.
Go Rebels!
