I would really like to see the nucleus of Hardy, Hamilton, Ntanbwe & Diong stick around. That would give OTZ something substantial to work with. Beyond that I would hope that 4 other scholarship guys stick around to be good teammates. The one thing Menzies did was bring together a bunch of guys that seem to like their roles and their teammates. Chemistry. That would leave OTZ room to bring in 4 or 5 guys to fill in the gaps.
I thought that we were 1 or 2 key guys away from having the ingredients we needed going forward before Menzies was let go so now I hope that OTZ can bring’em in.
I was reading on twitter that Caleb Grill has opened up his recruitment from South Dakota. He’s no slouch. Bird tried to recruit him to TT and we might have a shot at him. 6’3” point guard that high jumps 6’7” and was all state QB. Also had offers from other big schools as well as Air Force.
