Ricky White possible draft position

He's going to the Steelers in the 4th round.
Only if we actually deal Pickens. We need RB, DL, CB (and there aren't many 0 techniques in the draft and corner gets really thin after the 3rd) more than WR and given we traded our 2 to get DK, I just don't see us touching WR until the 6th or 7th. But I really think that's where Ricky will end up going anyway.

I really wish we'd trade back to get a little more ammunition, but I can't remember the last time we traded back in the first(looked it up, the last 1st round trade back was 2001 where we gave the 16th to the jets for the 19th and a 4th and 6th).

Totally agree. It was more joking around than serious prediction.

Although the Steelers have had a lot of success getting quality WRs in the middle rounds.

What they do at 21 will be extremely interesting. If Shedur drops would they take him?

RB draft is deep this year.

If Sanders drops I think we jump on it. Not sure it's the right move but you have to take a shot. I'd take that over ARod. Probably over Cousins--especially if I have to pay draft capital on it.

Surprise pick that I can see happening is Nick Emmanwori. Big underclassmen from a P4 with multiple starting years and crazy athleticism who was a top thirty visit.

My ideal would be for is to trade back as we have a lot of holes. But I think we'll go best available by fit for DB/QB/DL with my guy saying DL.

Would you trade out of the first add a couple draft picks and take a flyer on Milroe in the second? Im not high on that dude at all. I'd have rather kept Fields.

I still think the Syracuse QB (McCord) will become the Drew Brees of this draft.
I'd take him with a second or third round pick and pass on the problem child.

Oh god, please don't make me think about reaching for a project QB 2-3 rounds before he should be taken. Even in the 4th or 5th I don't love Milroe. I think he's going to need too much development. Now if you want to take a flier on him in the 6th or 7th round I'd be more understanding. I like Tyler Shough a lot better as a developmental project in the 2nd/3rd range, and would much rather have McCord or Howard in the 3rd or 4th than Milroe. If you're just looking for a backup Dillon Gabriel in the 6th is interesting.

My gut tells me we take a flier on someone late to develop as a #2 and our plan is still probably ARod which makes me want to barf, but Tomlin loves vets.

I don't like Milroe at all..

I hate the idea of Mason Rudolph as starter.

Not great QB draft..

My pro football team sucks balls…cough cough Dallas Cowdungs

My sleeper picks are the Syracuse and the Memphis QB.

I’m here to watch the Sh*tdeur free fall.

The wutaboutisms regarding Archie Manning is ridiculous.

Deep sigh of relief..

Mel Kiper is such a tool. Sanders #1 Qb in this draft? GtFOH.

Watching the steelers pass on him twice was entertaining.
Twice?

By the way, for not being emotionally invested in the NFL and even the Steelers, I cheered when we took the D-Lineman. I know nothing about the guy except that he isn't S Sanders.

This guy is a joke and needs to retire. We only have to see him once a year..

I swear the Sanders family paid him and ESPN hype money..

Espn shows R White as 15th best receiver left and Woodard 15th best LB left. That would mean late on day 3 or best of undrafted guys.

Would like to see them drafted but I think both can make a team.

Id like to see them drafted for the benefit of UNLV and its gotta be cool to say you were drafted.

Buuuut its probably better for the players to be selective and UDFA than a random late 7th rounder

This and this!

As an UDFA the player can find the best situation, so he can make the final roster!

Every year we keep saying, "it's best that he went undrafted anyways."

No, it's not. Being drafted shows that a team is invested in you. UDFA means they'll take-it-or-leave-it. I want our men drafted!
