He is moving on to Iowa, a run oriented team, that will showcase his ability and get him far more touches. The new coaches in Reno are moving to an "Air Raid" style offense so his touches were going to decrease significantly this year.

They have 3 3-star recruits in the 2017 class (according to Rivals) and already have 3-star recruits in the 2018 class. Looks like their coaches are putting in some effort.

On a side note "Nevada" was the third option I looked for behind "UNR" and "Reno". I forgot that they're distancing themselves from their city.

I believe Reno has lost 23 players since the new coaching staff was hired. That includes injuries, transfers, academics, etc.

Lots of new faces up there, new staff, style of play on both sides of the ball. Opening the season at Northwestern and Home to Toledo is no easy task. They do not get the benefit of easing into their new style of play. Week 3 they get Idaho St, but then are back on the road @ WSU.

Thats a tough opening 4 weeks.
