On tv on fs1. Rebs up 10 with 1:43 left in half. Offense looks better without dj.
The offense hasn’t really clicked but there’s more overall movement and activity.
REBS WILL GO ON A RUN AND DJ WILL COME BACK FOR MW TOURNAMENT. UNLV THEN LOSES 1ST GAME AS THEY STAND AROUND WATCHING DJ DRIBBLE. TELL ME I'M WRONG.
Henley is surprising the hell out of me. These ****ing guys seem to play more like a team without Thomas.
The fact that some think the team is playing better without Thomas says even more about how Kruger wasn't able to figure out how to win through an entire season, and just did the simplest coaching job of putting the entire team around Thomas.! My expectation is that the NIL value of Thomas continues to take a hit as the season wraps up!

That because he got limited touches BEFORE. His shooting stats are GREAT.
I talked to someone that knows. Big things are ahead. Realignment is happening again in the next 1-2 years. NIL money is increasing greatly ( That has been alluded to before) WE are in great position to take the next step. He did not say ,but vaguely implied with BIG CHANGES are ahead that IMO i think they already have already zeroed in on their next HC. The Pac-2 came to us to negotiate we have the much better hand. Tens of millions for us.
That is a lot to unwrap there and mostly vague. So,
1. Big things are ahead regarding realignment. Is there signs the B12 might open up for expansion or is it the SEC and B10 are going to expand?
2. NIL money is increasing greatly. For all sports and is this part of revenue sharing that was talked about? Or, are big NIL changes going to help us get a new basketball coach?
3. The PAC2 in a NEW effort to get us has recently happened?
I was trying to be vague. Heavily implied that we will be in a much better position in the next couple years. I Read between the lines a bit ,but we are in great shape. I stand bye i think they already have their next HC picked out. Just the feeling i got . It not like he was going to tell me directly.

NIL is NOT part of revenue sharing. Think of it in pro sports terms. Pro players will get paid on their contract( revenue sharing for college ). In addition they will get paid for selling their name to advertise products ( NIL for college). Pat Mahomes gets paid on his contract and in addition he gets advertising money from numerous sources.
Thanks. I mostly understand that. I was just trying to unwrap those vague thoughts in that post and I didn't mean to suggest the two are the same. It's probably my wishful thinking in hoping to get any news on revenue sharing. I think revenue sharing is going to be important for us as a piece of a formula to help us look more attractive to the B12.

In a few weeks UNLV basketball could be headed in a new direction and maybe we can get excited about them like we are about football.
I was not sure if I would ever believe UNLV football and hoops could be fixed at the same time but now I sense our two biggest sports teams could be on solid ground.
Imagine football in the playoffs and our basketball team in the NCAA tournament in the same season!
Hill played by far the best he has ever played for UNLV. Many of the offensive rebounds were because of his hustle. I can't believe we outrebounded a team by 20.
