Would Rebs be 6-3 if Brumfield allowed to play all of game 1 and was not injured this year knocking him from most other games.

Probably not, but personally I've always thought the offense ran the best with him. Mostly because the line has been so awful, his mobility allows him to extend plays.

At the same point, if they had started with Friel from game #1, I think we would also have 1-3 more wins. The passing stats he has had are the best I have seen for UNLV in decades. When was the last time we had a QB that had better than a 60% completion rate? I am not sure if Brumfield will ever become a major player for UNLV due to his history of getting injured! I believe Brumfield may be a better QB when he plays, but his style of play tends to cause him to get injured in almost every game he has played.

He just turned nineteen last week. He had a tough game vs Nevada as did the whole team. Lots of good numbers from Arroyo's recruits plus Plant had a great day.

Listening to Arroyo in the press conference from this afternoon:

Apparently Brumfield also battling an ankle. Had previously only been identified as having a back injury. Not looking great, unless they will be able to get that medical redshirt.

How soon we forget. Caleb Herring as a SR had one of the better seasons ever for a Rebel QB. Just looked it up and he was 63%, 24 TD, 5 INT. He took us to a bowl. Not bad for a "WR".

We don’t know how good Brumfield could have been been..all speculation.

He’s out with an injured back. Depending on severity, he may never be the same again.

We’d have 4-5 wins right now. We beat EWashington and Fresno St. w/ Brumfieled and at least 1 of Utah State or SJSU.
