You are quoting a non peer reviewed article from the internet that caught fire with tons of retweets. It was based hypothetical not on actual numbers or data.
That data has never been confirmed.
Here is an article laying it all out.
In fact NPR which is not some right leaning outlet could only confirm 250 cases linked to the event.
There is a website that shows daily reported cases for each individual state. Both Dakotas have very similiar case increases. There Covid spikes and dips have had similiar trajectories.

I would say look at case trajectories of both Dakotas. There peaks and valleys line up and are very similiar.

Your post is garbage. For example SARS-CoV-2 is .3 microns but you're misleading people because it's attached to respiratory droplets which are much bigger.
Spend some time and run a search with entries "masks work" and another search "masks don't work". You'll find studies on both sides. If you get deeper into it you'll see that many of the studies are garbage. But there are some on either side that are serious and support either position.
I used to be anti-mask. But now, I'm a mask agnostic. I choose to wear a kn95 in public just so I'm not kicking myself if I get covid.
I am anti mask for children. I think there is enough proven data that masks are more harmful to children than good.

Maybe I was too subtle in my post.
They were welcomed to work with Covid patients this entire time but now they are being forced to vaccinate. Plain dumb. Many probably already had it so they have the antibodies and know, from many previous viruses, that their bodies have a better capacity to fight it off versus getting a vaccine.
They went from heroes to being ridiculed but this is why hospitals are “at capacity.” If you have less nurses, then your capacity decreases. Simple math there (but not how it gets presented in the media).

Look at numbers in Isreal who is a couple months ahead of us in dealing with the Delta variant.
Vaccine efficacy has dropped. Vaccinated hospitalizations are in fact increasing.
They are primarily Pfizer vaccine.
If that particular vaccine was doing everything it was supposed to do, we wouldn't suddenly be seeing a rush for booster shots a mere 8-9 months after the initial release of the vaccine.

I'm not sure that vaccinated people making up 'only' 28% of recent Covid related deaths is anything to crow about.
In fact, if those numbers are correct it should be concerning, and bears watching.
Media calls it full hospitals but you are right, it’s loss of staffing. All Over. Nurses are being poached for big money to fill in holes. But when the dust settles, there’s still holes. And it’s not like we have a bevy of nurses graduating … grads in everything slowed down.
