So not a lot of in depth detail from anywhere - and remember, this is SUU so there are other angles with info. Still tight, trying to stitch info together. But it was a complete blowout from what I understand. SUU couldn’t match up anywhere, UNLV did what they wanted.

UNLV is extremely active defensively. Think SDSU. Not as skilled or athletic, probably quicker, but it’s all in on the defensive end. They create a lot of mayhem and turnovers and easy buckets against lesser competition. And that will show in OOC because everyone is lesser competition.

Offensively, a definite weak spot, work in progress. Shooting isn’t good, Webster is probably best from outside. K Gilbert is the best offensively but all damage is from inside the line. But he’s the alpha on the team and will have the ball in his hands a lot.

it’s a team of several “decent” players, Gilbert being the best by quite a bit and he has control of the team. Heard some good things about Muoka overall. Hands, touch, defensively. No Cottrell.

It’ll be rebound by committee, all hands on deck.

Will have trouble with scoring when we get stuck in the half court. Might not look that way early given the competition but it’s considered a weakness. But the defensive freneticism is a strength but competition must be considered.

I heard probably looking at best case, 4th place MWC, worst case, 7th.
