Noticed a lot of discussion about the lack of NFL drafted Rebels since 2010 in several threads so I'll do one that's independent of those. Time to break the streak of years without a Rebel taken in the NFL Draft.

2020 - I think there's a very good chance that Justin Polu will go in the middle rounds of the 2020 draft. Darkhorses = Singer, McCoy, Plummer & Caldwell.

2021 - Charles Williams & Armani [likely not as a QB] in the late rounds. Darkhorses = Tejchman, Tantum & Garcia

Anyone I missed? Anyone who was injured or who failed during Spring that I listed who needs to be dropped?

Polu- Maybe

Singer- Doubtful. Injury riddled career. Has flexibility can play center/OG. Is seeking a medical red shirt this year. Even if he gets it, probably a back up to Polu/Brayton at OG and Acosta at center.

McCoy- Undersized. Quick first step but not NFL fast. He's right around 220. Not fluid enough to play safety. Has to have a huge senior year to get a look. Dude is incredibly strong for his size, but he has 10? Career sacks? And rushing the passer was supposed to be his forte. Not all his fault. Some of that is scheme. But if you're a shade over 6'1 and 220lbs you better be Bruce Irvin coming off the edge to get a look.

Plummer- This will be the first year he is a starter (provided he holds off incoming JUCO in the fall). He had a decent Spring camp but.....

Caldwell- Will miss all of this year. After good freshman and sophomore years he's had injury issues and been a swing man. He has flexibility and can play everywhere but center but I'm not sure he gets drafted based on his career so far.

Williams- 50/50. He has very good speed. But there are a lot of guys that are fast and don't get drafted (Lex). He lacks Lex' feet. He's had his own injury issues. To get drafted he will have to show he can catch the ball out of the backfield. This hurt Lex as he wasn't used in the passing game much. Chuck's not quite 200lbs.

Armani- Maybe somebody takes a flyer on him. Athletic ability is there, but he'll have to make huge strides as a passer to get a sniff.

Garcia? - He hasn't even won a starting job at UNLV how is he getting drafted?

Tejchman- Moved from WR to SF. Who knows. He only has a handful of starts.

Tatum- Walked right in and took the LT job. But he's yet to start a D1 game. Way to early to project that.
