Haven't found anything on Rivals. His HUDL tape is really interesting. Played WR, a lot of 'wildcat' QB and some SF/CB.

You being serious that he's slow? I think you're being deceived by his long legs. Guys with a long stride don't look as fast. You don't break that many long runs without being fast.

Go back and watch the tape again. Assuming that the speed is accurate, I have him getting from the 50 to 10 yard line (40 yards) in 4.22 seconds. I know that is not a true 40 time because he's not starting from 0, but that's still plenty fast.

The hardest part about grading high school tape is that in many places hardly anyone on the field can break a 5.0 forty and most linemen can break a 5.6. The advantages seen on the field in performance of a high school athlete will be negated with a much smaller pool of chosen athletes in college.
He is a good football player that had 485 rushing yards and 347 receiving with 10 total scores. Also 21 solo tackles and 1 pick on defense.
He would need to bulk up to play linebacker in college.

Honestly when I looked at the film the first time he looked fast, but not exceptionally fast. I looked him up and saw this

I kind of hope he projects into a safety role.

Will, thank you for that post of track times. I didn't realize Charles Williams Is almost as fast as Lexington Thomas (10.75 100m via milesplit.com and 10.4 via his hudl).
