Bad idea. That would limit the rights of student athletes to transfer midyear. If head and assistant coaches can interview for new jobs before the end of bowl season, then players should be able to transfer midyear.

As long as they finish the commitment they were paid for. If a coach leaves the paycheck stops.

Mullen is going to be a great recruiter by UNLV standards. The most recent equivalent will be like Dave Rice. Like Rice you can tell he is genuinely excited about UNLV which will make it easier to pitch and land recruits.

Maybe his recruiting wasn't great for Florida standards, but in this 4 seasons there his classes were 16th - 10th - 8th - 13th. They weren't at the top of the SEC like under Urban, but they certainly weren't slouches.

That program is spiralling downward nearly out of control. They are spending out of control, they are losing players and coaches everyday it seems.
