I know so much has been said about how we'll lose every player if they dont agree with how the coaching search plays out. However for most of these guys its not that simple. So now we have our coach who do you guys think stays? A starting 5 with fisher, mcgaw, dj, carter, and obekpa would have a great deal of talent on paper. Hopefully the kids will be able to see this.
Carter- Loves cdr rice and staff but the kid came here because hes a Rebel and its been well documented how much his family wants him home. Imo he stays however not much has been said on his rehab and how thats going along.
Mcgaw- His decision could be our key to success next year. Hes not currently on any draft boards so nba is a huge risk and if he transfers he has to sit out a year. The best thing probaly for him will be to stay here even if he disagree with the coaching search.
DJ- Can probaly get drafted if he leaves but would be hard to crack the 1st round. Doubt he wants to sit out a year with a transfer but looks like hes tied at the hip with Miller.
Poyser & Cornish- Guys who should be 4 year college players(maybe poyser can prove me wrong) and sitting out a year wont be a horrible idea if their not comfortable with their situation here.
Chris Obekpa- His only option is NBA or to play for us and if he thought he was ready for the NBA why would he have taken a redshirt year.
Green- If he transfers only would get to play to play one full season of division 1 basketball in his college career after coming from a jc. Or he can stay and still have 2 years of eligibility pending his redshirt wavier from this year i suppose.
Recruits- Johnson has given indication hes still coming. Fisher looks like he is also tied to miller.
