I don’t think that players will be sitting this out should their schools participate in this.
Also, this would be a big boost to recruiting for these schools. We need to do this annually!

How much do you want to bet that the NCAA will attempt to put limits on how many times UNLV can be in the players festival to keep a smaller school from having an upper hand on their golden boys? If UNLV gets in every year, then that would be a huge boost to the program in regards to recruiting.
Is Players Era a TNT tournament? If so, MWC being with Turner for some package, makes sense for them to want to keep UNLV around as it moves forward. Assume TNT doesn't go either Pac over MWC.
