Sorry to start another thread, but hey, this board is pretty quiet nowadays...
I was pretty shocked when I looked at what Dakota Wesleyan has done since our exhibition game. Coming into the Mack, the Tigers were looking to build on a 93-64 win in their first game.
We beat them fairly comfortably 80-96, though most of us thought we gave up way too much penetration, and way too many points, in general.
They have played 2 more games since our meeting last Tuesday. They are now 3-1 on the year, getting two more wins after their trip to Vegas: 88-72 and 109-81.
So in their 3 other games, they are averaging 97 ppg and allowing 72.
Let me be clear, I'm not gonna hang my hat on this game or call it a good win, but seeing their results against other teams makes me think this may have been a better exhibition opener than I thought, and I like our result even more.
