OT: Palestinian AYYyyyyy-RABs infest UNLV

Do the protestors call the counter-protestors in advance and tell them where they are protesting? Seems convenient that both sides show up at the same times on the same days.

Allegedly, of course.
When your funded by Soros, nobody gives a crap.

there ain’t gonna be no “river to the sea” with these jokers.

Half these morons don’t know what they’re even protesting. Feel it to your bones and then protest peacefully. Dont be a moronic pawn.

They are living examples of useful idiots. Some of my favorite signs are Lesbians for Hamas and the like. Makes about as much sense as having women in Afghanistan walking around with We Heart the Taliban signs. There was a reporter walking around Columbia asking about 100 people chanting from the River to the Sea if they knew from what river to what sea. Not a single person got them both right and only one knew the Mediterranean. If you don't know Israel is on the Mediterranean then I think it is safe to say you aren't qualified to speak on geopolitics in the Middle East.

This is the real life video that inspired the satire graphic I shared in my earlier post. A female leftist leader of the Columbia University protesters that forcibly occupied a building, prevented others from entering that space, and damaged the building requested "humanitarian aid" for the protesters, including free food and food delivery to the building they occupied. Next to her, a homosexual man (I assume) wears a Palestinian keffiyeh as a fashion symbol. If these two were in Gaza, they would likely be raped or sodomized, tortured, and either held hostage, murdered and/or forced into sexual slavery.

As long as idiots like this come out of Columbia and other liberal/socialist schools, it will be really easy for my kids to become filthy rich! How about they take the money from their meal plans, and use it to pay back the students who have had their classes disrupted?

I anticipate thats coming... You think the students who have felt unsafe arent going to sue the university and then these public student leaders for violations...

I hope my kids spend as little time as possible on the liberal side of campus. They’re mindless nutjobs.

Stick with the sciences or go with a trade. Trade is gaining a ton of steam in my mind.

Two of my Grandkids are not going to be ready for college and yet they are within two years of going. I would love to see them go into the trades. Hands on, get paid, no debt, less worry about being replaced by AI etc. etc. Their mom, however, wants to hear none of it and is 100% on them going to college in any major. I'm wise enough to stay away from it but I feel bad for the two kids.

Below two vids. One on electrician and one on plumber.

If they’re geared towards high level professional, an advanced degree, medical, law, etc … absolutely.

If not … hands on trade where you hone a specific skill …. Go for it.

Want to go to school to get a degree in philosophy, theory of Taylor Swift, English lit, history …

If they want business, real world is more valuable.

I hate that most degrees are useless nowadays, acquiring them by regurgitating what they want to hear. F that.

I used to be fine with military but nobody knows what they are fighting for and underneath it all it’s for shit reasons.

Of course, I’ll support them with whatever they do but I’ll try and point them in the right direction.

My small business is dealing with challenges at this time. However, without a vow, if I have time, I am willing to briefly chat with you and them about career possibilities/paths in engineering, computer science, and data sciences, so that you have that perspective. I have contacts in academia and industry.

Thank you so much for offering your time. I bet there are a few dozen lurkers on the site who would love to hear some of your insight. These are very unique times we're entering.

Here is me in Israel back in 2016 near the Dead Sea!!

Gaza was a no go zone at the time and for good reason.

Rebels_88, the information you provided will be valuable to many. My specialty is data analytics. Based on my professional feedback, a trade degree in data analytics is not the way to go if someone is truly interested in data analytics. We are not hiring now. However, in the past, we received many applications from people with such degrees. After rejecting them, I explained to them why such a degree has little value for data analytics and encouraged them to start with a community college or 4 year college degree focused on computer science and mathematics, get an AA if a community college, then get a BS, etc. Data analytics requires a strong computer science and math background, not just a quick course how to use tools that may be obsolete in a few years.

Hey Utestream, good to know, thank you. I wish I had known of the Rowe stuff before my son headed off to college for Diesel and Automotive Tech. We managed just fine but, it was such a relief that there were programs for kids who were not geared toward academics and that was my son. He loved the school along with being a MN Army National Guardsman. The kid loves working with his hands and shooting.

Or go the direction of cyber security where certifications are what is important not college degrees! Within 1-2 year you are making over $100K without any loans to pay back!

The financial field doesn't require an expensive degree, either. I got into it with a science background. Granted, it's a slow buildup of clients but you can also work for a bank, lending institution, etc. who provide you with leads.

I'd say learn sales strategies and then go sell yourself to prospective employers. What got me in the door with a mortgage lender was this exact scenario:
Manager sees resume listing years of being a PT. Asks, "what sales experience do you have?"
Me: "Have you ever gotten an 80-year-old to exercise?"
Manager: Laughs and hires me.

PT's, Lawyers, etc. Anyone who has aspirations to move up, learn sales since we all use it whether we know it or not. Plumbers need to convince clients to change this or that in their homes. Roofers need to convince people that they are trustworthy and will do the job well. Media, hate them or hate them, are in sales as well. The list goes on and on.
