OT: Indoor women and Men’s track Yesterday.

You think we can upgrade the UNLV track outside and turn it into an indoor facility?

Dude, me and my roommate watched the races yesterday. Godfather was making fun of the guy in pink cause he couldn’t tell if he was a woman or a man.



So anyways, they were pretty competitive.

The women’s was dope, I can’t find the exact quote but she said she was racing to Jesus and she won.

I did watch the Swim and Dive MWC Tournament this past week. UNLV came in 2nd place. Did not see the Track competitions.

I never understood. I'm still confused a little bc we have always had some track athletes, but no program? Didn't we have some girl win NCAA shot put a few years ago? It's confusing.

Swimming is another sport where the numbers don't lie. It was very cool to hear the fans and teammates yelling Rebel Relay, Rebel Relay. Then our ladies go out there and win the 800 yard freestyle relay final.

On another UNLV Sport I saw a tweet that the Big West may be making an announcement this Friday that they've invited Utah Valley and Cal Baptist to replace Hawaii and UC Davis. The WAC is taking another hit and I don't know how or if it will impact our Men's Soccer team currently in the WAC.

We don’t have a mens team but the women’s team gets a girl or two into the NCAA champs, 2 sprinters a few years ago, shot putter and an 800m runner. The track coach is also one of the fastest women to ever run a 100 or 200m in the pros

UNLV had a men's track team and a men's wrestling teams until along cam Title IX. The only way to balance out the sports was to get rid of men's track and wrestling!

Each year between 2,500 and 3,000 teens are murdered. I have zero clue what can be done to stop it. Murder and car accident are two of my main worries for my grandsons.

Basketball? 🤣 🤣 I never really notice track either. Gymnastics has one I know of anyway. Golf? But I agree on tennis I would put them tops.

It’s not like I follow any female sports much. Basketball? I think I’ve seen a couple. I know Monster Jam was in love with Linda F. I’ve seen some gymnasts, swimmers, even golf … but tennis has always been tops for me.

I guess we can replace those sports with …. Attorney, accountant, doctor, cashier, etc … but there isn’t like a high line cocktail waitress group of the sports world.
