I think Harper will be looking at coaches who are not currently coaching. I don’t believe we can afford to pay off a current contract and give the type of contract that will be required. I think we end up with a coach similar to Mullen, a coach that has been successful in the past, but for one reason or another is not currently coaching.

I don’t think so. I don’t know who, but I don’t think it’ll be an up and comer. I think he will use a similar formula to Mullen. Experience and success. I don’t think we will break the bank like we did with football, but I do think it’ll be a higher allotment than what we’ve seen. Prob around the 2M mark.

Those not coaching don’t like the NIL system right now because they don’t understand it.

We just need someone that has a better system, a system that’s fun to watch (fans showing up) and can develop guys in a short amount of time. We don’t need a 5 year build nonsense. If we can get a decent NIL program going, someone like Bucky could really light it up in Vegas.

They understand the NIL system, and in the long run it may end up destroying college sports.

I alluded to that in a previous post. Seems like when we have a chance to land a BIG_TYME HC another P4 school opens up all of the sudden and takes them right from under our feet.
