WE got screwed over a handful of REALLY good coaches over the years thru the most unfortunate timing of other openings. Like Pitino ( Louisville) Beard (Texas Tech) and Underwood ( OK ST)! Im sure there a few others.

IM not sure how accurate this is ,but its seems like something can go wrong will go wrong when it relates to MBB in the last 10 years. Before then at least we had a few minor flashes Post Tark. These last 10 years has been dreadful.
UNM losing their best basketball coach in a decade and football coach in same year should really do wonders for that community...
