OC stinks

Tough loss, I’m heartbroken.

we gave up too many big plays in the air.

I like our QB and Running back.

nice that we didn’t pack it in at halftime. We fought our way back. Proud of the effort.

Mistakes on both sides of the field.

Would have liked the fairytale come from behind win.

Eastern Washington made the better play to seal the deal.

We have a great future with Brumfield/Tate QB and at RB

this game had my heart pumping. Our Rebels just came up short. Spectacular effort. We tried, that’s all that we can ask for.

With Brumfield we will win 4 to5 games
I hope you’re right. Getting 2 wins is looking like a tough task right now. I know Brum looked good but EWU was the easiest game on the schedule. 4-5 wins would be a hell of a turn around.

Brumfield brought a lot of spark and looks promising.
As for would have won scenario, Eastern Washington walked away from three trips within the 10 yard line with zero points along with three missed field goals. They had a bad game and still won.
I do feel this team has the potential to be a solid team but I don't know if the schedule is set up for this team to be favored to win a game this season.

Coming close is unacceptable. EWU is an FCS team. They are allowed 20 less scholarships than us. We need to face it. We suck again. We're looking at a 1 win season. And we'll keep Arroyo for 4 more years and keep sucking.

Blame the OC all you want, but when receivers drop 4 straight passes (one leading to an INT) and account for 7 total drops, that's an execution issue not an X and O issue. The right play was called, players didn't make it.

Not saying play calling was great. Thought they should have run the ball more. The delay of game out of halftime was an abortion.

But poor executiom is just as much to blame..

They should of ran the ball down their throat. Rogers missed the wheel route in 1st quarter that would of been TD. He threw off his back foot and every throw. With Brumfield we win by 10-14 even if EWU made all FG. It was night and day.

Justin Rogers = Armani Rogers

The difference is one didn’t keep the ball in the RPO and the other kept it for himself every darn time. Neither could hit the broad side of a barn.

This season is done before it started, which is the legacy of UNLV football.

We got beat at the line of scrimmage way too many times by an FCS team who isn’t great at all. Not to mention that our DB’s are still crap. One player getting ejected shouldn’t lead to their WR’s winning the 1-on-4 battles. The loss is solely on Arroyo. “But he can recruit,” I guess.

I am assuming you think we can beat UTSA? That might be a tall order in and of itself.

Really good point. I don't know enough about their program and potential to make a comment that we may beat them.

They are in Texas. They will beat us.

They were a bowl team last year and I believe are still d1a transitional. Could be wrong now.
Up and coming team in a city population similar to Las Vegas.

If they beat us badly,it would be highly embarrassing. I expect them to.
