Good riddance. If he was going to even have the same role as last year we were in big trouble. Need more talent. ACL tear wasn't kind to his talent.
Deleted tweet usually means it was poorly worded or the timing was poor. Essence is probably the same.
Players in their last year that don’t get ample time (if they have the talent or think they have the talent) can be a huge problem. CAN. Not always the case.
I have a TON of respect for Michael Umeh doing it the way it should be done. As a senior, he swallowed some pride for the betterment of the entire team. He took a lesser role, but excelled in it, took pride in it and he was a vital part of UNLV making a Sweet 16.
Hate to say it, but it’s a sign of a kid that was raised very well. And Umeh had that, very solid family foundation, mom and dad hard workers, professionals and they kept Michael’s ass grounded. No victim, no blame … accept fault and overcome. We need so much more of that today in every walk of life.

I feel like in the very limited amount of UNLV BB that Ive watched the past several seasons that is all that Ive seen, were there 12 of this guy lacing it up for the Rebels?
Not a big surprise, he is well traveled. wouldn't be surprised if he heads back to Florida to maybe fix that knee. My trainer Ben (kneesovertoesguy) and Mike went to the same JC out here in Florida. I wish him the best.
I expected a lot more consistency out of Nuga and it was not there. He ended up like so many disappointing transfers we have endured the last several years. With Hartman gone, we will see KK’s mettle or his not being able to measure up in very short order.
I don't wish him ill just because he didn't pan out here. It happens. He signed up to play for us and hasn't bad-mouthed us or been a bad student-athlete so I hope he finds success wherever he ends up.

IMO, he intends to play overseas. With the talent he displayed here I think he could make a decent living for a few years in a mid-level European league. I would think he got input from CKK since he played in Italy, Belgium and Germany. Wish him luck.
